SIZE DISCLAIMER:
Finished measurements are not guaranteed, as crochet tension varies from person to person. I have super tight tension compared to most. If you have looser tension, your item could end up anywhere from 2-4 inches larger than mine, even when using the same size hook and yarn.
 
With my tight tension, my otter ends up measuring to be about 7.5" inches from the top of the head to the tip of the tail when using Parfait Plush yarn. When I use Knotty Ball yarn, it ends up being about 6.5" inches from the top of the head to the tip of the tail.
